Mark Your Calendar: Bear Creek’s Halloween Spooktacular Carnival is Coming!

The Bear Creek Social Committee invites our community members to enjoy a fun-filled Halloween Carnival with free food, children’s games and activities, and raffle prizes on October 24, 6 to 9 p.m., at the Bear’s Den and Bear’s Patio.
 
HALLOWEEN PARADE, TRUNK OR TREATING 
Come dressed in your spooktacular best! There will be a Kids Halloween Parade to kick off the event at 6 p.m. and a Halloween costume contest for adults and children.

Kids will enjoy Trunk or Treating with candy provided by the Social Committee. Be sure to bring your own bag to collect treats. 

TEAM UP FOR A FRIGHTFULLY FUN FOOD CONTEST – NEW!
The Social Committee invites residents to form a team and register to compete in the Fall harvest food contest. Prizes will be awarded to the team with the best dishes in the following categories: 
 
1. Ghoulishly good chili 
2. Gnarly nachos and nacho bar
3. Corny corn bread and devilishly tasty pies (sweet and savory)
4. Witchy apple cider and Zombie lemonade (all non-alcoholic, please)

FIENDISHLY FUN TIMES FOR ALL
Newly appointed Social Committee chair, Nisha Pathak, and her committee have planned a fabulous Halloween event with something for everyone. Those who participate in the costume contest (children and adults) or in the food contest will receive a raffle ticket,  and by 8 p.m. raffle winners will be announced for best food and best costumes. 

LEND A HAND
Every successful event depends on a multitude of helping hands. Volunteers are needed to help with set up, running activities, and clean up. If you would like to help, please contact Social Committee members Nisha Pathak (972-533-2281) or Tapsi Bhatt (508-208-5875) for more information, to sign up to take part in the food contest, or to volunteer.
